Tan Kok Chuan Chinese Physician and Acupuncture Clinic Session 1 - 12 Feb 2019

Went for my first session at this clinic today. Found out about this clinic via a Facebook group that recommended good tcms around the east area.

I was given a medical consultation, followed by a physical neck probe.

They found something wrong with the right side of my neck.
Next my neck was manipulated and "cracked"

Following that, I was acupunctured and placed under a infra red lamp for 20 minutes.

And had a tuina session around my left face and neck area.

I was given some medication and I think he mentioned it was "Tian Ma".

And asked to return 3 days later as my condition is considered acute and needs regular follow up.



According to the SinSeh, he seemed to have more patients coming to him for SSHL recently.

And while he was administering acupuncture on me, he was talking to his colleague about which area to place the needle. He mentioned he had done that area for someone else with SSHL before and seen some success.

The receptionist sort of implied that recovery is possible. Which I think it probably happened to someone else who visited here before.

I listened and sighed.

I do not expect to have a full recovery at this point, and I am just hoping for some improvement in my hearing and tinnitus.
